Piano Practice Tips!
Some of my favorite piano practice tips:
🔸Make it a habit - daily practice strengthens fingers & the brain. Log your practice on a practice chart - we all respond positively to tracking our progress. Celebrate yourself when you finish a practice.
🔸 A little goes a long way! Smaller increments of consistent practice is better than longer sessions inconsistently.
🔸Start with the hardest part of your piece. Practice doesn't always have to start at the beginning of a piece - sometimes working backwards on a piece is the best use of time. Conquer the most challenging measures first, when you have the most focus and energy.
🔸Play SLOWLY with lifted fingers. In order to play fast we must practice slow. Lifting fingers extra high develops finger strength and control.
