Tribeca Music was founded by Lydia Velichkovski, a Steinway & Sons educator and recipient of the 2024 Top Teacher Piano Award. Since beginning private teaching in Tribeca in 2013, Lydia—an NYU graduate—has grown Tribeca Music into a close-knit, inspiring community rooted in creativity, excellence, and connection.

Guided by Lydia’s passion for music education, Tribeca Music offers exceptional instruction alongside meaningful experiences, from beautiful biannual recitals in NYC concert halls to community musical events that create lasting memories for the whole family.
