At Tribeca Music, we offer private music lessons in a variety of instruments: piano, voice, violin, cello, flute, guitar, ukulele, and drums. Lessons are held weekly, one-on-one, with expert instructors who are dedicated to fostering musical growth in students of all ages and skill levels.

We offer flexible options to make learning convenient for you:

• In Your Home – available in Lower Manhattan and other NYC neighborhoods upon request

• At Our Studio – located at 291 Broadway, Suite 1000 (between Duane and Reade Streets)

• Online Lessons – available for students worldwide, from California to Italy and France

Who We Are

Our team of instructors holds advanced music degrees and has years of experience teaching and performing professionally. We create a warm, friendly, and supportive environment for students to learn and grow.

Tribeca Music was founded by Lydia Velichkovski, a Steinway & Sons educator and recipient of the 2024 Top Teacher Piano Award. Lydia began teaching private lessons in Tribeca in 2013, and over the past 12 years, she has grown with her students and fellow teachers, building a close-knit and inspiring music community in the heart of the neighborhood. What started as a small studio has evolved into a thriving space for learning, creativity, and connection.

Lydia’s journey and passion for music education have helped shape a welcoming environment where both students and teachers grow together, creating lasting bonds and a sense of belonging within the Tribeca community.
