Welcome to our new teacher Calvin. He is available for lessons in:

*Piano 🎹

*Violin 🎻

*Voice🎤

If you are interested in starting lessons, you can split your lesson time between two instruments.

Calvin is a composer, performer, and music director. His music has been described as “impressive” and having “a fine ear for sonority” (Pittsburgh Tribune Review), and has received awards from the Kennedy Center and The American Prize. Calvin frequently works as a performer and music director in theater/live entertainment, and has been seen at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Carowinds, Virginia Stage Company, and music directed shows for Dorney Park and TADA! Youth Theater’s Resident Youth Ensemble.

In addition to his work as a composer and entertainer, Calvin has over 10 years of teaching experience, working with students of all ages and levels, and is a Teaching Artist for TADA! and Brooklyn Music Factory. He maintains an active private studio for piano, voice, and violin, and prioritizes holistic and kinesthetic learning practices to accommodate various learning styles. Calvin holds a BM in Composition from Cedarville University, and an MM in Composition from Mannes School of Music/The New School.
