Recital student prep checklist for teachers:​​​​​​​​​

✅ Have students practice walking up to the instrument - can they put their hands in the correct start position without any help?

✅ Body check - think “visual” set up. For pianists: elbows out, wrists up, sit up tall, round fingers. Take a photo for student and parent reference during practice.

✅ Video record pieces and show student for corrections - they’ll notice mistakes more from a video rather than in real time. Re-take improved video with corrections made. Share video with parents along with corrections so they can help guide practices.
