Did you know that for the first several years of our 15-year history, Tribeca Music offered only in-home lessons? Even today, the majority of our students across Lower Manhattan still learn in their own homes.
While we absolutely love our gorgeous, inspiring studio in the heart of Tribeca for a premium learning environment, families are always welcome to switch to in-home lessons at any time.
Benefits of in-home lessons include:
Siblings and family members can hear the music and feel creatively inspired. Often younger siblings hear their older sibling’s lesson and feel inspired to start playing music too!
In-home lessons create a comfortable, familiar learning environment for your child.
Easier scheduling for families with multiple children taking lessons — one child can do homework while another has a lesson. 📚
Parents can easily hear what their child is working on and stay involved in the learning process.
No stress during bad weather like we’ve had this winter— lessons happen conveniently right at home. ❄️
Students learn on their own instrument, such as their own piano at home, making practice time seamless.
