June 2022 Student of the Month

Congratulations to our Student of the Month, Shaan! 🎉🎹​​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​When Shaan was asked what he likes most about playing piano, he said, “I like how you can be creative with it and do whatever you want. There’s no restrictions, and you can have fun with it.” 😄​​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​His favorite song that he’s played is “Gallop” by Dmitri Kabalevsky. His favorite practice tip is to “not get frustrated if you’re having a hard time.” He says, “When I start to get frustrated, I take a five minute break and come back to it with fresh eyes.” Great advice, Shaan! 🤩​​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​Shaan performed the classic “Minuet in G minor” by J.S. Bach in our 2022 Spring Recital.
