The Capstone Senior Center Recital!

Today’s the day! Our community concert at local senior center The Capstone in battery park city is this afternoon! The Capstone’s senior residents love when our students come to share the songs that they’ve been working on for our upcoming formal recital season. This is a great chance for our students to practice performing their pieces in a more casual setting before they get on stage at Steinway Hall and The National Opera Center for our spring recitals. It is also a lovely community service opportunity for school resumes and community service hours. And we love sharing our gift of music with the residents to brighten everyone’s day and bring smiles to their faces.
